Qolsys Door/Window Sensor—Tamper Error
Find the image of your door/window sensor below to view instructions on how to replace the cover on your sensor to address the tamper error.
You will also need to clear the error from the panel memory. Once the cover has been replaced, see instructions for IQ Panel 2 System Sensor Status.
Qolsys QS1135-840 Door Window Sensor:
Align the cover over the sensor and press to close. Ensure the tab snaps securely into place.
Interlogix 60-362N-10 Door Window Sensor:
Align the cover over the sensor and press to close. Ensure the tab snaps securely into place.
Ecolink TX-E201 Door/Window Sensor:
Align the cover over the sensor and slide the cover down to set it in place.
Interlogix / GE Security TX-1012-01 Micro Door Sensor:
Press the inside cover onto the sensor, then align and press closed against the backplate.
Interlogix 60-688-95 Micro Door Sensor:
Press the cover against the sensor, align it over the backplate, and press it into place.
