Factory Default
Warning: erases everything, the camera must be re-added to your account.
To reset the camera to factory default, hold the back button for 15 seconds until the LED flashes red and green.
Wi-Fi Setup by WPS Enrollment
1. Hold the back button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue.
2. Press and release the WPS button on the router or enable WPS mode in router programming.
3. After 2 minutes the camera LED turns green if successful or red if not successful.
Wi-Fi Setup by Access Point
1. Hold the back button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes white.
2. Go to smartphone Wi-Fi settings, select Alarm (xx:xx: xx), then press Connect.
3. Open a web browser and enter 192.168.1.1 into the search bar. The camera menu appears, select Language.
4. Press Scan for Wi-Fi Networks, and when found, select your Wi-Fi network.
5. Press Security key, enter Wi-Fi encryption key, press Save, then OK to exit.
6. The camera LED turns green if successful or red if failure.
Add Camera using the Brinks Home™ App Website
Note: the camera must first be connected to Wi-Fi.
- Log in to the Brinks Home App on a desktop browser and press Video.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add Video Device.
- The camera should be detected. Enter the camera name, then select Install.
- The camera is added to the network, which can take several minutes.
- When finished, select Live View to view images from a newly installed camera.
Add Camera using the Brinks Home™ Mobile App
Note: the camera must first be connected to Wi-Fi.
- Log in to the Brinks Home Mobile App and press Video.
- Select Settings by pressing the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Add Video Device, then select your compatible device type.
- The camera should be detected. Enter the camera name, then select Next.
- The camera may take several minutes to configure.
- When finished, select Live View to view images from a newly installed camera.
Troubleshooting
- Power cycle the camera by unplugging and plugging in the power adapter.
- Move the camera closer to the Wi-Fi router.
- If issues persist, try resetting the camera to factory defaults and reinstalling it.
LED Reference Guide
- • Off - no power
- • Flashing red - power on, camera booting

- • Solid green - internet and Alarm.com connection
